The report analyzes the performance of different programs over the preceding three fiscal years and presents the issues, challenges, action to overcome them and suggested actions for further improvements with innovative public health initiatives.
This report is mainly based on information collected by Health Management Information System (HMIS) through nine District/Public Health Offices (D/PHOs), public and private hospitals. A total of 2 Zonal, 1 Sub-Regional, 7 district level and 8 private hospitals, 16 Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs), 157 Health Posts (HPs) and 219 Sub Health Posts (SHPs) reported to concerning district HMIS in 2070/71.
This report also includes service coverage by 1,510 Primary Health Care Outreach Clinics (PHC/ORC), 1,683 Immunization clinics and 5,892 Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs). A total of 33 NGOs also reported to districts this year. This implies that all 9 D/PHOs; 89% of public hospitals, 100% of PHCCs, 98% of HPs, 100% of SHPs, 86% of PHC/ORC, 97% of immunization clinics and 92% of FCHVs reported to districts in FY 2070/71.
